Sunset Boulevard - 26

$129.99

All right, look. Is this name a bit unimaginative and low-effort? Probably. But what else am I supposed to call it, Sunset Dreams? That sounds like someone let a dispensary employee name a can of house paint at Home Depot.

So the name stays. And besides, what’s in a name? You don’t have to tell people what I called it when you wear them. They’re going to be waaaaay too distracted by the pink and gold accents anyway.

I like these pants because they’re subtle, which is a departure from my usual fare. If you know me or have ever seen me, you’re probably aware that “subtle” isn’t a word commonly associated with me (what can I say, I happen to think more is more). I used several different colors to kind of coalesce into a peach-sunset vibe.

So on one recent tour, I found myself in Point Pleasant, West Virginia (home of the famous Mothman, actually) and was walking along the Ohio River at dusk. I looked up and saw the most incredible sunset I’d ever witnessed. I’ve traveled all over the world and seen a lot of beautiful things, but nobody does sunsets quite like the American heartland.

And these pants were inspired by that moment. Because that sunset was SO incredibly vivid and, to be quite frank, emotionally moving, I made no attempt to recreate that splendor. I mean, how could you? All I could do was imagine it as I picked colors and let the paintbrush do the rest.

26W, midrise

Inseam: 30”

All sales are final so PLEASE check the sizing thoroughly before buying! We’re happy to answer questions through the contact form on our site as well if you’d like more sizing info!
