Fragility is a common thread among all living things. Life is fleeting and precious. We are not weak for treating it as such.

I’ve always loved rabbits. They’re clever, quick, unassuming, and lucky. They never let on how much they know, preferring instead to use their knowledge as context within which to better understand rather than a means to power.
They’re innocent except when impish, and even then, it’s hard to be mad at them.
Wear your luck on your sleeve. On this hoodie, the rabbit has your back.

Custom ClothingThe Baby Hedgehog is one of the few pieces that I had a pretty developed vision for before beginning. Sometimes my style is slapdash and improvisational, but every now and then it’s focused and disciplined, with a very clearly defined endgame.
This is a lambskin leather jacket, so it’s extremely soft and supple while also being tough. And that was pretty much the goal all around - to balance a bit of delicateness with a side of “fuck you.”
I love boldly colored leather jackets, and nothing says, “Hi, I’m here” quite like a pink one. It’s just not something you see every day.
When I first got sober, I was extremely touch-averse. I would go to AA meetings and make a pretty valiant effort to not hug anyone (I’ve since gotten better), so one day I figured out that if I wore my jackets with spikes, it was something of a deterrent. Much like a hedgehog!
This one is for the folks who hate claps on the shoulder from strangers, hugs from people you barely know, and anyone being in your personal space in general. Its message would be pretty clear even without any text written on it: back the fuck off bro.

Lean, green, and mean. This genuine leather jacket is just straight rock n' roll. Like Duff's playing, it's about attitude and what you see is what you get. The power is in the presentation without any hidden meanings or surprises.
It has such a cool iridescent look in the sunlight, which I got by using thin coats of flat colors over blended metallic hues. Green sometimes gives way to gold and purple, and it's a head-turner.
Gunmetal hardware top off the toughness without being too shiny, keeping it all business and thoroughly badass.

I got so hyperfocused on this one that I completely forgot to document the process of making it. I had just returned home from tour and was itching to make a lace-up vest. You can take a vest in at the sides, but lacing is always a little more fun.
The GLAM letters on the back are absolutely perfect, especially with the black back pocket and leopard print collar.
It's a tribute to all things glam, and like David Bowie himself said, you’ll be too cool to fool while wearing this.

I just imagine someone in a dystopian cityscape, or a Mad Max film, kicking ass but wanting to look cool while doing it.
It’s rusty like a pipe you’d bash zombie heads with; spotted atop a metallic gleam to move discreetly between the dappled patches of sunlight filtering in through the skeletal husks of buildings long since destroyed; and padded to take a blow but keep the hits coming.
Look, nobody wears this jacket with the intent of being a fly on the wall. If you were to show up at my place clad in what basically looks like the hide of an urban panther, I’d assume you came either to kill me, recruit me, or possibly both.
This is a leader’s garment. The head of the pride, as it were. Okay, well panthers don’t live in prides, but you get my point (actually, a subspecies of panther specially evolved to live in post-apocalyptic city ruins might develop some kind of social structure, who knows).
This jacket is genuine leather, as befitting an urban warrior. Only the best for the best, am I right? Sizing below:

This genuine leather jacket is a piece about frustration. Sometimes things don’t go according to plan, and it’s not the end of the world. We don’t have to control every variable, nor do we need to invest so heavily in one particular outcome; as long as we’re honestly trying and operating in good faith, things are more or less going to be fine if not exactly great.
It’ll either be okay or it’ll be okay. Get out of the results business and invest in the present.
You can see that sentiment in the piece. The carefree X’s are pretty obvious, but if you look closely, you’ll see hints of brush strokes because that’s how I did the undercoat to give it a slightly chaotic look that the jacket retained even after the overcoat colors were sponged on.
It’s messy and regal at the same time. It catches the eye with the overlap between the turquoise and magenta, giving it a shimmery look that changes as it moves around in the light. It’s shy and self-effacing in its lettering while bold and proud in its overall design and color.
